Job Description
Bennett and Game Recruitment Ltd is representing an Accountancy Practice in Sheffield who are seeking a Semi Senior Accountant to join their firm on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for accounts preparation, VAT returns, tax return submissions and bookkeeping duties for a variety of clients. Salary up to £35,000.
Semi Senior Accountant Job Overview
Preparation and Submission of VAT Returns
Statutory Financial account's Preparation for Limited Companies and Self Assessments.
Company Tax return Submissions and Self-Assessment submissions
Comprehensive client bookkeeping skills
Answering phone calls and deal with client queries
Semi Senior Accountant Job Requirements
Minimum 5 years' experience in accounts preparation in a general practice
AAT qualification
Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage.
Strong knowledge of VAT, payroll, and financial regulations.
Semi Senior Accountant Salary & Benefits
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience
Holiday package: 20 days annual leave + bank holidays
Working Hours: 9am - 5pm
