Semi-Skilled Operative
Certain Advantage is hiring for a Semi-Skilled Operative based in the Widnes area.
This role is on a temp-to-perm basis and is site-based.

We’re working with a sheet-metal fabrication and electrical enclosure specialist, delivering services from design through manufacture and finishing to a range of industrial sectors.

The Role:
This role is for a Semi-Skilled Operative—someone ambitious and ready to make an impact. You’ll be results-oriented and driven to succeed.
You’ll be working in a small, experienced, and collaborative team, and be responsible for:
Operate and support machinery, including (but not limited to) saws, guillotines, drilling equipment, corner formers, spot rollers, stud-welding and PEM machines
Verify materials issued against production/works orders;
Conduct a quality check of your own work every time against the work orderThe Individual
We’re looking for people who can show:
Workshop or manufacturing environment background
Basic standard in numeracy and English (or equivalent).
Working to deadlines.
Competent in processing parts using general sheet-metal/fabrication machinery and hand tools
Exposure to a health & safety-focussed environment and/or having health & safety qualifications.The Benefits:
