SEN Class Teacher - All-Through SEN School - Birmingham Location: Birmingham Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term Start Date: September 2025 or Sooner Pay: MPS/UPS - Paid to Scale via PAYE (no umbrella deductions) Are you an experienced or aspiring SEN teacher ready to make a genuine difference? The Role: You'll lead a small, well-supported class group, delivering adapted and engaging lessons designed to meet each learner's EHCP targets. This is a unique opportunity to shape individual outcomes and build meaningful relationships that last. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons across a range of ability levels Foster a calm, consistent, and structured classroom environment Support students with ASD, SEMH, and other complex needs Work closely with the SENCO, therapists, and families to review and refine learning plans Encourage independence, resilience, and emotional regulation through a holistic approach Use positive behaviour support strategies and track pupil progress effectively What We're Looking For: QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential Previous experience in an SEN or inclusive setting is highly desirable Excellent understanding of neurodiversity, emotional needs, and differentiated teaching Strong classroom management and excellent interpersonal skills Creativity, empathy, and a genuine passion for inclusive education Why Join Long Term Futures?
