SEN Teacher | Long-Term | £175- £250 per day | Birmingham (B13) | Full-Time | September Start
Are you a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher looking for your next rewarding opportunity in a supportive, specialist setting? Long Term Futures are seeking a passionate and committed SEN Teacher to join a highly successful special school in Birmingham, catering to students aged 3-19 with a primary diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
This outstanding provision delivers high-quality education tailored to meet the individual needs of over 300 students across three well-resourced sites. The Ideal Candidate Will:
Be a qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent
Have substantial experience in a special school environment, particularly with students with ASC
Demonstrate a strong understanding of a wide range of special educational needs and effective, personalised approaches to teaching
Have experience of leading and managing a team of teaching assistants
Be confident in using a variety of communication methods to support all learners to be heard and understood
Be a proactive team player who can work closely with colleagues and families to achieve the best outcomes
Have a clear understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the Birmingham education landscape
Be a skilled communicator with the ability to deal with sensitive information in a professional and confidential manner
