SEN Class Teacher
Hillingdon, West London
£45,000 to £60,000 (salary is dependent on experience and/or qualifications)
Start date: SEPT 2025/ASAP
We are looking for a passionate and committed SEND Teacher (QTS) to join a welcoming secondary setting in Uxbridge this September. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a small, supportive class of 7 learners with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), making a meaningful difference every day.
Your Role:
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual EHCPs and learning needs.
Create a safe, inclusive and nurturing classroom environment.
Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists and families to support each learner’s holistic development.
Promote communication, emotional regulation, independence and essential life skills.
What We’re Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
Experience or a strong interest in working with students with SLD.
Creativity, resilience and a genuine passion for inclusive education.
Excellent teamwork skills and a proactive, positive approach.
