Job Description

SEN Cover Supervisor
 Swindon | Flexible Work
 
 We are recruiting Cover Supervisors to work across specialist SEN schools in Swindon. These provisions support pupils with Autism (ASC), communication needs and learning difficulties, with small class sizes and strong staff support.

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with young people and want flexible work in education, while gaining experience across multiple specialist settings.
 
 The Role:
 * Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the teacher
 * Support pupils with additional needs to stay engaged in learning
 * Maintain a calm, structured classroom environment
 * Work closely with Teaching Assistants and SEN staff
 
 About the Schools:
 * Specialist SEN provisions with high staff-to-student ratios
 * Support pupils with ASC, SLCN and learning difficulties
 * Structured environments focused on communication and independence
 
 What We're Looking For:
 * Experience working with children or young people (school, care, youth work, coaching etc.)
 * Confidence managing a classroom environment
 * A calm, patient and resilient approach
 * Experience in SEN or specialist education

This is primarily flexible, day-to-day work, although long-term and permanent opportunities can arise for candidates available full-time.
