Job Description
Capital Recruitment Group is a specialist recruitment consultancy, providing quality temporary, contract, and permanent staffing solutions to clients across the North-West and surrounding areas.
We are currently looking to recruit a reliable and compassionate SEN Driver to work in Liverpool and the surrounding areas.
You will play a vital role in supporting children and young adults with Special Educational Needs (SEN) by providing safe, comfortable, and timely transport to and from schools, day centres, and other educational or community facilities. This role requires patience, understanding, and a genuine commitment to the wellbeing and safety of all passengers.
Duties include:
• Safely driving a 16-seater minibus to transport service users to and from designated locations
• Assisting passengers on and off the vehicle where required
• Maintaining a professional and caring attitude at all times
• Ensuring the vehicle is kept clean, safe, and roadworthy
• Completing basic vehicle checks before and after each journey
• Working closely with support staff to ensure the comfort and safety of all passengers
Successful Candidate Must Have:
• The right to work in the UK
• A valid Full UK Driving Licence with D1 category
• Minimum of 6 months driving experience within a similar role (school, SEN, or care transport)
• A caring, patient, and responsible attitude
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• An enhanced DBS (you can apply for one upon registration)
• Ability to commit to term-time hours, Monday to Friday
• Flexibility and reliability
