Job Description

The Headteacher of one of our wonderful primary school’s in Preston is looking to appoint an experienced and dedicated class teacher to join their SEN class in September . This position is required to start in September. The school aims to provide a caring, stimulating and secure environment. . All children are encouraged to work hard and do their best in all aspects of their learning and development. They place great emphasis upon the well-being and personal developmental of every child. As a school, they work hard to create a lively, engaging and purposeful learning environment. This role is to work in an SEN Classroom in a mainstream school. The school has 5 children all with EHCP’s. The classroom has 2 Level 3 TA’s available for support who are very experienced. Experience of working with children with SEN and being non verbal would be essential. The successful applicant would need to be available to start asap or September and must be able to commit to the role until at least Christmas therefore holding a valid and updated DBS is of an advantage.
