Remedy Education are currently recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a friendly and supportive school in Brentwood.
About the Role:
As an SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will:
Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with a range of SEN needs (including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and speech & language difficulties).
Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging, inclusive lessons.
Help create a positive learning environment that supports each pupil's development and well-being.
Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour support strategies.
Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to ensure every child can reach their full potential.
About You:
We are looking for someone who:
Has previous experience supporting children with SEN in a school setting.
Is patient, nurturing, and passionate about inclusive education.
Can build strong, positive relationships with pupils and staff.
Holds an enhanced DBS (or is willing to apply for one).
Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
