Job Description
Uniform Education are recruiting Teaching Assistants to join a specialist provision in Redhill, supporting children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Autism, and associated learning difficulties. This setting offers small class sizes, a supportive environment, and a focus on helping every learner reach their potential.
Role Responsibilities:
* Support students 1:1 and in small groups.
* Assist in delivering learning activities and promoting inclusion.
* Help manage classroom behaviour and support positive learning environments.
* Work closely with teachers and HLTAs to adapt resources for individual needs.
Requirements:
* Experience working with children or young people is desirable.
* Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
* Team player with a proactive approach.
* Experience in SEN settings is beneficial but not essential – training will be provided.
