Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist education service, supporting children within a PRU environment around the London borough of Hounslow. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about making a difference in the lives of pupils who may face barriers to learning. We require someone to start as soon as possible.
Duties as SEN Learning Support Assistant:
Work closely with teachers and support staff to provide individual and small group support.
Assist pupils with special educational needs, including those with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties.
Help to create a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment.
Support pupils in developing confidence, independence, and social skills.
Contribute to the delivery of EHCP's
The ideal SEN Learning Support Assistant:
Previous experience working in a school setting (not necessarily SEN-specific).
A caring, patient, and resilient approach.
Strong communication and teamwork skills as SEN Learning Support Assistant.
The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
A willingness to learn and develop through training and support.
