Job Description
Learning Support Assistant – SEN
We are looking for a caring and motivated Learning Support Assistant to join our team on a temporary to permanent basis. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children with special educational needs in a positive and inclusive environment, with the potential to move into a permanent role.
The successful candidate will:
Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with a range of additional needs
Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and personalised learning activities
Support pupils’ social, emotional and communication development
Encourage independence and positive behaviour
Work as part of a dedicated team to ensure every child has the opportunity to succeed
We are seeking someone who is:
Patient, empathetic and resilient
Able to adapt to the individual needs of pupils
A good communicator and team player
Passionate about supporting children with SEN
Reliable and committed to making a difference
Experience of working with children with SEN is desirable but not essential, as training and support will be provided.
This role is offered on a temporary basis initially through Teaching Personnel, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
