Job Description
Humly is recruiting a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a primary school in Blackpool. This is a full-time role starting ASAP until Christmas 2025, working in Year 3 to support children with a range of SEN needs. The role will involve a mix of 1:1 and small-group support, helping pupils of mixed abilities to achieve their academic and personal goals.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Providing 1:1 and small-group support for Year 3 pupils with additional needs
* Assisting the class teacher in adapting lessons and resources to meet individual learning needs
* Encouraging positive behaviour and supporting social and emotional development
* Helping children build confidence and independence through targeted interventions
What You’ll Bring
* Experience supporting children with SEN, ideally within Key Stage 2
* A patient, adaptable and proactive approach
* Strong communication skills and the ability to support pupils of mixed abilities
* A valid Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply) and two suitable references
