As a SEN Learning Support Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting pupils with a range of needs-such as Autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) challenges. Your day will involve a combination of 1:1 support, small group interventions, and collaborative work with teaching staff and external professionals.
✅ The ideal candidate will have:
Proven experience working with children with SEN in a primary setting
A nurturing, resilient, and proactive approach
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Knowledge of EHCPs and inclusive classroom practices
Relevant qualifications in childcare, SEN, or education support (desirable)
GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
