SEN/Mental Health Teaching Assistant - Bristol
A supportive mainstream school in Lawrence Weston, Bristol, is seeking a long-term SEN/Mental Health Teaching Assistant to start immediately. The school caters to students aged 11-16 with complex needs, communication challenges, and behavioural difficulties, with a strong focus on wellbeing and therapeutic support.
Role Overview:
Provide 1:1 and small group support
Support learning, emotional wellbeing, and social skills
Encourage positive decision-making and resilience
Work alongside professionals (e.g., psychologists, therapists)
Great experience for aspiring Therapists or PsychologistsDetails:
£90-£100/day (DOE)
Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
Graduate-friendly (Psychology, Criminology)
DBS required (we can help with this)Requirements:
Degree in a relevant subject OR solid academic background with SEN experience
