SEN Primary Teacher – Truro / Falmouth Area

Full-Time | Planning & Marking Included | Immediate / Post‑Easter Start

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a specialist provision in the Truro / Falmouth area, who are seeking a dedicated and motivated SEN Primary Teacher to join their team. This is a full‑time position with planning and marking included, offering stability and fulfilment for the rest of the academic year.

About the Role

You will be teaching a small group of primary-aged pupils with a range of SEN needs, including:

Autism (ASC)
Communication and interaction needs
Social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) challenges
Cognitive learning differences
Your responsibilities will include:

Planning and delivering tailored learning based on the set curriculum
Creating a calm, structured, and positive classroom environment
Working closely with a highly supportive team of TAs and SEN specialists
Using creative approaches to engage pupils and build confidence
Tracking progress and adapting plans to suit individual needs
This is a highly collaborative provision where you will never be working alone — the class benefits from excellent staffing ratios and strong leadership.

Who We’re Looking For

You’ll be a fantastic fit if you are:

A qualified teacher (QTS required)
Experienced in SEN or confident adapting your practice to meet additional needs
Patient, resilient, and committed to inclusive education
Positive, proactive, and able to build trusting relationships
