SEN Primary Teaching Assistant (ASAP Start)

Pay: £475–£500 per week (depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The Role
A welcoming and inclusive SEN primary school in Brent is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. The role involves supporting children with a range of additional needs, including moderate to severe learning difficulties, autism (ASD), ADHD, and speech and language challenges.
You’ll be working in a small class of around 8 pupils with mixed abilities and needs. While this isn’t a 1:1 position, you’ll lead small group activities and provide general classroom support under the guidance of the class teacher.

Requirements
Experience supporting children with SEN (ASD/ADHD experience ideal)
A proactive and caring attitude
Ability to work effectively in a team
An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
Requirements
The desired SEN Teaching Assistant will:
Have a caring, supportive and nurturing personality
Be available to start immediately and full time
DBS on the update service

Have experience of working with those who are non-verbal, pre verbal.
Have relevant experience of working with children, young people or vulnerable adults within a education setting
Be someone who is patient, caring and adaptable to each young person you will support
