The Role:
As an SEN Qualified Teacher, you will be integral to delivering tailored learning experiences that build independence, confidence, and skills among pupils with complex needs. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including teaching assistants, therapists, and external professionals, ensuring a comprehensive approach to each child’s education.
Responsibilities

Planning and delivering differentiated lessons to meet diverse SEN needs

Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching strategies accordingly

Supporting pupils’ social and emotional development
*
Maintaining detailed records and contributing to Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
*
Liaising with parents, carers, and external professionals to support holistic development
Requirments
*
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism or experience in SEN education
*
At least 6 months’ recent experience working with children in the UK education system
*
Strong understanding of SEN legislation, frameworks, and best practices
*
Excellent communication, organisation, and teamworking skills
*
A genuine passion for working with children with SEND and promoting their inclusion and wellbeing
