A warm, nurturing specialist school in Bordon is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic staff to join its expanding team. The school supports children and young people aged 4–19 with a range of needs, including:
Moderate to severe learning difficulties
Complex needs
Autism spectrum conditions
Communication and interaction needs
Sensory and physical needs
The school operates across primary and secondary sites, both designed with accessible learning spaces, sensory rooms, therapeutic provision, outdoor learning areas, and a highly collaborative staff culture.
1. Teaching Assistants
Pay: £13.75 per hour
Hours: Full-time and part-time opportunities available
Role Overview:
You will work closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff to provide high-quality learning support. This includes adapting activities, supporting communication, promoting independence, and ensuring pupils feel safe, happy, and included.
What we’re looking for:
A patient, calm, and caring approach
Willingness to support pupils with personal care (where needed)
Ability to follow behaviour and communication strategies
Great teamwork skills and a positive attitude
Experience in SEND is helpful but not essential – full training provided
2. Class Teacher
Pay: £130–£180 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time
Role Overview:
We are seeking an inspiring teacher to lead a small, well-supported class. You will create engaging, personalised learning that supports pupils' individual targets and holistic development. Collaboration with a strong team of TAs, therapists, and senior leaders is central to the role.
What we’re looking for:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)
Passion for inclusive education and creative approaches to learning
Ability to differentiate lessons for a wide range of abilities
Confidence in supporting pupils with communication, sensory, or emotional needs
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
