In this role, you will work closely with teachers and other school staff to provide tailored support to students with diverse needs, including learning, emotional, and physical disabilities. You’ll help foster a positive learning environment and adapt classroom activities to meet individual needs. Key Responsibilities * Provide one-on-one and group support to students with special educational needs, including autism spectrum disorders (ASD), ADHD, and other learning difficulties * Assist in implementing individualised learning plans (ILPs) and ensure the progress of each student * Support students’ emotional and social development, fostering a safe and welcoming environment * Help prepare resources, set up learning activities, and adapt materials for different needs * Assist in personal care tasks, where necessary * Work closely with teachers, therapists, and parents to provide coordinated care and support * Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in the classroom About You The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children with SEN and a positive, patient attitude. You’ll bring empathy, adaptability, and resilience to each day, along with strong communication skills to work effectively within our team.
