SEN Secondary Teacher – PRU Experience

💷 Salary: £180 – £240 per day (depending on experience)

Are you an experienced SEN Secondary Teacher with a strong background in Pupil Referral Units (PRUs)?
We are working with a specialist school in the Bexleyheath area who are looking for a committed and resilient teacher to support students with a range of social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs, as well as those with additional learning difficulties.
The Role:
Delivering engaging and differentiated lessons to secondary-aged students.
Supporting learners with challenging behaviour and complex needs.
Working closely with support staff, therapists, and senior leadership to implement individual learning plans.
Encouraging positive behaviour management strategies and fostering a safe, inclusive learning environment.The Ideal Candidate:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS).
Previous experience teaching in a PRU, SEMH, or alternative provision setting.
Strong classroom management and behaviour strategies.
A resilient, patient, and adaptable teaching style.
