Job Description
Are you passionate about working with young people who face barriers to learning? Remedy Tutors is seeking empathetic and experienced SEN/SEMH Tutors in Wandsworth to provide personalised 1:1 tuition to students with a range of needs – including Autism, ADHD, anxiety, trauma, and behavioural challenges.
Many of our learners are out of mainstream education or require extra support to re-engage with learning in a safe and structured environment.
🔍 The Role:
*
Deliver tailored academic and emotional support sessions
*
Build trust, rapport, and positive routines with each learner
*
Support curriculum content (often English or Maths focused) with a flexible and nurturing approach
*
Create a safe space for learning and emotional regulation
*
Report on progress and engagement
✅ Ideal Candidates Will Have:
*
Experience supporting young people with SEN or SEMH needs
*
A calm, patient and trauma-informed approach
*
Background in teaching, tutoring, mentoring or youth work
*
Confidence in working independently (often in community or home settings)
*
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
