SEN Outreach Tutor (Complex Needs, ABA, PMLD) - Barking and Dagenham
ABOUT THE ROLE
Prospero Teaching is currently seeking dedicated and experienced Outreach Tutors to provide tailored 1:1 tuition to children and young people with a range of complex needs, including SEN, PMLD, ASD, and those requiring ABA-based support in Barking and Dagenham. These students are currently not in mainstream education and require bespoke, engaging interventions to help them re-engage with learning.
As an SEN Outreach Tutor, you'll deliver structured, personalised sessions-often in-home or in community settings-designed to support academic progress, boost self-confidence, and develop positive learning habits. Students may have EHCPs and could display challenging behaviour, so experience with trauma-informed practice or therapeutic approaches is highly desirable.
This role is ideal for educators looking to move away from the traditional classroom and make a direct, life-changing impact through 1:1 intervention. Full support and training are provided, and timetables can be built around your availability.
