As an SEN Supply Teacher you will be responsible for the below: Delivering pre-planned lessons for children with a range of special educational needs Developing and implementing individualised learning plans and EHCPs Using specialist teaching strategies, visual supports and structured routines to maximise learning outcomes Adapting curriculum content and resources to meet diverse sensory, communication and learning needs Supporting children's academic progress, social communication skills, confidence, independence and self-advocacy Leading and collaborating with teaching assistants, SENCOs and external professionals Monitoring and assessing pupil progress, keeping detailed records and reportsTo join us and be successful in this role you will ideally need: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification Genuine passion for working with children with SEN and commitment to inclusive education Patience, empathy and ability to build positive relationships with children across the SEN spectrum Strong behaviour management and communication skills Flexibility and adaptability to work across different school settings Experience or willingness to learn SEN-specific strategies and undertake training (full support provided) Relevant qualifications or experience in SEN, autism or related areas (desirable) Current Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (where applicable) and professional references Complete CV detailing employment history for the previous 10 years where available Valid right to work in the UKWhy choose Tradewind?
