Are you a passionate and adaptable qualified teacher with experience supporting pupils with additional needs? TimePlan Education is seeking dedicated Supply SEN Teachers to work with schools that specialise in supporting children with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
These schools cater for a diverse range of needs, providing a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive. This opportunity is ideal for teachers with previous SEN experience, or for those from mainstream settings who have successfully adapted lessons to support pupils' individual learning plans and wish to develop their expertise in SEN further.
About the Role:
As a Supply SEN Teacher, you will:
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that inspire curiosity and support individual progress.
Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that promotes personal development, emotional regulation, and well-being alongside academic growth.
Encourage communication and interaction, empowering students to express themselves and engage confidently with others.
Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and parents to provide a holistic learning experience.
Build strong relationships with pupils and colleagues to ensure a positive, supportive, and welcoming school atmosphere.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Strong understanding of Special Educational Needs and effective strategies for differentiation.
Experience teaching or supporting pupils with a range of additional needs.
A valid DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
