Job Description

SEN Support  Some children need someone who'll celebrate every step forward, and be the familiar face they can count on every day. If you're patient, compassionate and love seeing children grow in confidence, this could be the role for you. We're looking for a caring SEN Support Assistant to work closely with a pupil who needs additional support to thrive in school. You'll play a vital role in helping them feel safe, included and ready to learn. Your responsbilities will include: Suporting pupils with additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, Speech and Langauge and other SEND Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups Assisting teachers with classroom activities Encouraging pupils' confidence, independence, and engagement Promoting positive behaviour and creating an inclusive learning environment Building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents We're looking for candiates with: A genuine passion for supporting children with SEN A calm, patient and supportive approach Strong communication skills  Experience with SEN (school-based or otherwise)  A willingness to learn and adapt Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) Why work with Protocol Education?
