SEN TA In Balsall Heath As an SEN Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include: * Providing one-to-one or small group support to pupils with additional needs such as autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, or learning delays. * Collaborating with class teachers and the Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs). * Supporting pupils with their social, emotional, and academic development. * Using creative strategies to engage pupils and encourage positive behaviour. * Fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom atmosphere. Candidate Requirements Ideal candidates should possess: * Experience working with children or young people with SEN (school-based or otherwise). * A caring and patient nature, with excellent communication skills. * The ability to build strong, positive relationships with pupils and staff. * A proactive, flexible approach and willingness to work as part of a team. * Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, SEN training, or equivalent) are desirable but not essential.
