Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant
Location: Hillingdon, West London
Start Date: January 2026
Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term
Salary: £90 - £115 per day (PAYE, DOE)
Tradewind Recruitment are looking for SEND Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming primary school in Hillingdon from January 2026.
The school has two SEND ARPs supporting pupils with a range of needs, including autism, speech and language difficulties, and cognitive learning challenges. This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate and proactive practitioner to make a real impact in a supportive, inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Support pupils 1:1 and in small groups within ARP and mainstream settings
Assist with personalised learning plans and adapted lessons
Promote independence, confidence, and social skills
Requirements:
Experience supporting children with SEND
Positive, patient, and proactive approach
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
