Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant
Location: North West London
Start Date: January 2026
Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term
Salary: £90 - £115 per day (PAYE, DOE)
Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking dedicated SEND Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming Specialist Resource Provision (SRP) within a mainstream primary school from January 2026.
The SRP supports pupils with a range of cognitive learning needs, providing tailored interventions and small group teaching within a nurturing and structured environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for compassionate, proactive practitioners who are passionate about helping pupils achieve their full potential-academically, socially and emotionally.
The Role:
Supporting pupils with cognitive learning needs on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
Assisting with differentiated lessons and personalised learning plans
Promoting confidence, independence, and positive social interaction
Collaborating closely with class teachers, the SENCO and wider staff team to deliver targeted interventions
Helping to maintain a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment
What We're Looking For:
Experience supporting children with SEND (in school, SRP, or a similar setting)
A patient, enthusiastic and proactive approach to learning support
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Understanding of learning difficulties, autism, and/or speech and language needs
An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
