We are working with a highly regarded, inclusive Church of England primary school in the Barnet area, known for its warm community, strong pastoral focus, and commitment to nurturing every child’s potential. We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a Year 4 pupil who is awaiting diagnosis for ADHD. The child needs support with focus, self-regulation, and managing transitions throughout the school day.
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience supporting children with ADHD and/or ASD.
A calm, patient, and proactive approach to behaviour management.
Knowledge of strategies to promote emotional regulation and positive engagement.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with children, staff, and parents.
A genuine passion for helping children achieve their best in both learning and personal development.
