SEN Teaching Assistant – Bingley

Salary: £85 – £100 per day (depending on experience)
About the Role The Education Network is currently recruiting for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with Special Educational Needs in a welcoming and inclusive school based in Bingley.
This is an excellent opportunity for a caring and motivated individual who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with additional learning needs. You will be working closely with experienced staff to provide high-quality support to pupils with a range of needs including Autism (ASC), ADHD, and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties.
Key Responsibilities
Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with additional needs.
Assist the class teacher and SENCO in implementing tailored learning strategies.
Support the development of social and emotional skills and encourage positive behaviour.
Adapt resources and learning activities to meet individual pupil needs.
Help to create a safe, engaging and inclusive classroom environment.Requirements
Previous experience supporting children with SEN, ideally within a school setting.
A patient, understanding and flexible approach.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
A valid DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
Relevant qualifications such as Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant, or SEN-specific training, are desirable but not essential.Why Work with The Education Network?
