We are seeking an inspiring and dedicated Primary SEN Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking specialist provision in Alcester. This inclusive SEN School is renowned for its ever-evolving, nurturing curriculum, carefully designed to meet the needs of children diagnosed with a range of SEND including ASD, ADHD, attachment difficulties, ACEs and specific learning difficulties. You will play a key role in closing gaps in education, supporting pupils who have often experienced disrupted or missed learning, ensuring they feel seen, understood and motivated to succeed.
Roles and Responsibilities
* Create a safe, supportive and stimulating classroom environment where every child can flourish
* Deliver high-quality, engaging and differentiated learning experiences designed to meet a wide range of learning needs
* Work collaboratively with specialist staff, therapists and senior leaders to support students’ academic, social, and emotional development
* Use effective assessment to inform personalised learning plans and track progress meaningfully
* Build trusting relationships with pupils, families and wider professionals, ensuring consistent communication and support
* You will actively promote a culture of respect, resilience and positive relationships, ensuring all pupils have opportunities to reflect, grow and succeed. This will be in line with the School’s Positive Behaviour Support policy
Qualifications and Experience:
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Read the DfE ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’ (2025 document)
* Proven experience teaching SEND students in an educational setting
Vetting Checks:
* Right to Work in the UK (No Limitations)
* Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service (Child/Child & Adult Workforce)
* Reference checks covering the last 2 years of employment or education
