SEN Teacher Assistant - Full Time - Chiswick, West London - September Start - Temp/Perm Start
Are you a kind and compassionate individual with a passion for working alongside children?
We are currently recruiting for a SEN Teacher Assistant to work full time at a special needs school based in Chiswick, West London. This special needs school support the needs of young autistic individuals with moderate learning difficulties by using a holistic curriculum guided by a team of Occupational Therapists and Speech and Language Therapists.
By working in smaller classrooms, learners are able to stay engaged and work towards unlocking their full potential.
SEN Teacher Assistant Responsibilities:
Mainstain safeguarding/health and safety policies of the school
Ensure a personalised approach to showing teaching support
Understand how ASD can create barriers to learning and how to overcome them
Work in smaller classrooms, on a 1:1 basis to encourage learner progression
