SEN Teacher Assistant - Full Time - September Start - Chiswick, West London - Long term/Perm
Are you a dedicated and empathetic individual with a a passion for working alongside children?
We are currently recruiting for a SEN Teacher Assistant to work full time at a special needs school based in Chiswick, West London. This special needs school go above and beyond for young individuals with moderate learning difficulties, working in smaller classrooms to encourage learner engagement and student progression.
With a focus on a holistic curriculum guided by a team of Occupational Therapists and Speech and Language Therapists to enhance student progression and build confidence.
Responsibilities:
Maintain safeguarding/health and safety policies of the school
Ensure a personalised approach to teaching support
Understand how ASD can create barriers to learning and how to overcome them
Assist with classroom management and planning day to day activities
