Job Description

Job Title: SEN Teacher (Inclusion Unit) Area: Newham, West Ham Start Date: ASAP Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term Salary: £160 - £230 per day (dependent on experience) Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm Brief description: Teaching pupils with SEN in a mainstream Secondary school inclusion unit, promoting progress and positive outcomes for students of varying ability. About the school: Inclusive and supportive mainstream setting with a dedicated inclusion unit for students with additional needs. About the role: Plan and deliver tailored lessons, create a nurturing environment, and work closely with support staff to meet individual learning goals. We're looking for a dedicated candidate to: Deliver engaging lessons for students with diverse SEN needs Implement EHCP targets and differentiated learning plans Foster a safe, inclusive and positive classroom environment Requirements - The ideal candidate would have: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience supporting SEN in a mainstream or specialist setting Strong behaviour management and communication skills Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted Prospero Teaching is acting as an employment business/education recruitment agency in relation to this vacancy.
