Are you a dedicated Teacher of SEN, including Early Career Teachers (ECTs), looking for a new opportunity from January 2026? We are currently recruiting SEN Teachers to deliver English, Science, and Humanities across a range of SEND schools and alternative provisions in Derby and the surrounding areas. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people with additional learning needs, while developing your own expertise in inclusive education.
What We're Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (or equivalent)
Experience or strong interest in teaching pupils with Special Educational Needs
Ability to teach English, Science, and Humanities at a range of key stages
A nurturing, adaptable, and proactive approach to teaching and learning
Strong classroom management and effective communication skills
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
