Warrington, Cheshire (WA1 area)
Full-Time | Permanent
MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance (dependent on experience)

We are seeking an outstanding SEN Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking specialist provision in the Warrington area. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping personalised learning journeys and making a lasting impact on young people with additional needs.

The Role

As an SEN Teacher, you will:

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons aligned to EHCP outcomes.

Support pupils with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech & language needs, and moderate learning difficulties.

Create a structured, nurturing classroom environment where every pupil feels safe and valued.

Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, SENCO, therapists, and external agencies.

Monitor, assess, and evidence individual progress.

Contribute to annual reviews and multi-agency meetings.

👩‍🏫 The Ideal Candidate

You will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Have experience working with pupils with SEND (mainstream with SEN experience or specialist provision).

Demonstrate strong behaviour management using a calm, therapeutic approach.

Be patient, resilient, and adaptable.

Have high expectations for both academic and personal development.

Be committed to safeguarding and inclusive practice.

Early Career Teachers with relevant SEN placement experience are encouraged to apply.
