Primary Teacher SEN and SEMH Focus (Full Time) at a specialist provision in Portsmouth Location: Portsmouth Start Date: As soon as possible Contract: Permanent Institution: KS1/2 Pay: M1 to M6 plus SEN allowance £2,787 About the Role We are seeking a compassionate and resilient Primary Teacher to join a specialist provision supporting pupils with SEN and SEMH needs. This is a highly rewarding opportunity to work with students who require a nurturing and structured approach to learning. The successful candidate will create a safe and supportive classroom environment, helping pupils to build confidence, re engage with education, and achieve meaningful progress both academically and emotionally. This role requires a teacher who can adapt learning to meet individual needs and who understands the importance of building strong, trusting relationships with pupils. About the School The provision is part of a specialist setting supporting primary aged pupils with complex SEMH needs, including those with EHCPs and those unable to access mainstream education. The school provides a relationship focused and nurturing environment where every child is supported to succeed. Staff work collaboratively to ensure pupils receive personalised support, with a strong emphasis on emotional wellbeing and personal development. The setting offers a supportive team environment, with a focus on staff wellbeing, ongoing training, and professional development.
