SEN Teacher - Complex Needs | Full-Time | Southend | September Start

Tradewind Recruitment is working in partnership with a specialist setting in the Southend On Sea area, seeking an experienced and committed SEN Teacher to support pupils with complex needs on a full-time basis from September.

This role involves working with pupils who require a highly structured, individualised approach to learning. The school provides a well-supported environment with experienced support staff, clear routines, and a strong emphasis on communication, independence, and emotional development.

The Role:

Full-time SEN Teacher
September start
Teaching pupils with complex needs, including ASD and associated learning difficulties
Planning and delivering tailored lessons to meet individual EHCP targets
Working closely with support staff, therapists, and familiesThe Setting:

Specialist provision with a strong, collaborative staff team
High staff-to-pupil ratios
Focus on consistency, routine, and pupil wellbeing
Well-resourced environment designed to support a range of needs
Supportive leadership with experience in SEN educationThe Successful Candidate Will:

Have experience working within SEN, particularly with complex needs
Be patient, adaptable, and resilient
Be confident in differentiating learning to meet a wide range of abilities
Have strong communication and teamwork skills
