TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist school in Ashford that supports young people with Autism and a range of additional learning needs. Governors, senior leaders and staff work tirelessly to provide a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment where pupils are encouraged to thrive, overcome barriers to learning and achieve positive outcomes through a personalised and therapeutic approach.

The school is looking to appoint a dedicated Science Teacher on a long-term basis with a view to becoming permanent for the right Science Teacher. The successful Science Teacher will work with pupils from Year 1 through to Year 11, delivering engaging Science lessons while supporting a broad range of learning needs and contributing to the school's holistic approach to education and therapeutic intervention.

The successful Science Teacher will have:

• QTS

• The ability and willingness to teach across both primary and secondary age ranges

• Experience supporting pupils with SEND, SEMH or complex additional needs

• Excellent classroom management and behaviour support skills

• A patient, resilient and adaptable approach to teaching
