Are you an ECT or primary teacher looking to develop your career within SEN education?
 
Horizon Teachers are working with a welcoming primary school in Croydon who are seeking a full-time SEN Teacher to join their specialist provision from September 2026.
 
This is an excellent opportunity for a primary teacher in the early stages of their career who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and is keen to develop their experience within a dedicated SEN setting.
 
Previous SEN teaching experience is not required – the school is happy to support a teacher who has a genuine interest in SEN and has general experience working with children with additional needs.
 
We Are Looking for Someone Who:

Holds QTS
Has previous experience supporting children with SEN/additional needs
Is passionate about developing a career within SEN education
Is confident managing behaviour and creating a calm, supportive learning environment
Can adapt lessons and learning activities to meet individual needs
Is patient, nurturing and committed to helping every child reach their potential
Is keen to learn and develop their understanding of SEN teaching and specialist provision
Works well as part of a supportive and collaborative team
Is enthusiastic, resilient and brings a positive attitude to the classroom
