A high-achieving and nurturing SEN school in Andover is looking to appoint a passionate and experienced SEN Teacher for a September start. This is a class-based role teaching across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with a focus on developing functional literacy, numeracy, and life skills alongside a broad thematic curriculum. Pupils have a wide range of needs including Autism, ADHD, moderate learning difficulties, and sensory processing challenges. The school promotes emotional wellbeing through therapeutic strategies, personalised timetables and strong relationships.
You will be supported by a team of experienced LSAs, as well as access to speech therapists, OTs and mental health professionals. This is a place where staff work closely with families and multi-agency teams to achieve the best outcomes for every learner.
