SEN Teacher – SEMH Specialist School (Havant) Salary Scale: £31,650 to £49,084 annually Start Date: ASAP A specialist SEMH school for boys aged 11 to 16 in Havant is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to join its highly motivated and dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a primary-trained teacher (year 6) looking to make a meaningful impact by supporting secondary-age students in a trauma-informed, therapeutic environment. About the SEN Teacher Role: Teach a broad and balanced curriculum tailored to meet individual needs Support students with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties, helping them to improve their life chances and promote positive citizenship. Deliver high-quality, structured teaching with excellent classroom management and behaviour strategies Prepare and review Education and Health Care Plans (EHCPs) for each student, ensuring provision is personalised and targeted Adapt your approach for students with additional needs such as ADHD, ASC, and Dyslexia.
