Job Description
SEN Class Teacher – Full-Time (2-Year Contract)
Location: Cambridge
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-Time, Fixed-Term (2 Years)
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 (dependent on experience)
We are looking for an inspiring and committed SEN Class Teacher to join our vibrant and supportive independent SEN school community in Cambridge from September 2025. This full-time role is offered on a fixed-term basis for two academic years and presents a rewarding opportunity to positively impact pupils with a range of special educational needs.
The successful candidate will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching pupils with special educational needs
*
Demonstrate a strong understanding of individualised learning and inclusive classroom practice
*
Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons that support both academic and personal development
*
Foster a nurturing classroom environment that encourages confidence, independence, and resilience
*
Work collaboratively with families, support staff, and external professionals to meet pupils’ EHCP targets
*
Be reflective, proactive, and committed to ongoing professional development
