About the Role
As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering tailored education to pupils with a range of special educational needs, helping them achieve their individual learning goals and develop independence.
Key Responsibilities:
Planning and delivering differentiated lessons for pupils with diverse SEN requirements
Creating Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and monitoring pupil progress against specific targets
Working collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, therapists, and support staff
Liaising closely with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure holistic support
Adapting teaching methods and resources to meet individual learning styles and needs
Supporting pupils' social, emotional, and communication development

What We're Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in SEN provision
Strong understanding of different learning difficulties and disabilities
Excellent classroom management and differentiation skills
Patient, creative, and adaptable teaching approach
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Current DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
Right to work in the UK
