This role involves teaching secondary-aged pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), using a creative and differentiated primary-style approach. The successful candidate will support learning through sensory strategies, personalised planning, and a holistic developmental curriculum.

Plan and deliver engaging, individualised lessons for learners with complex needs
Use multi-sensory and communication-based strategies to support progress
Build strong relationships with pupils, families, and the wider staff team
Provide a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment
Take on opportunities for career development and leadership responsibilitiesRequirements -
The ideal candidate would have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS)
Experience with PMLD, SLD, or complex SEND learners
A nurturing, adaptive approach with strong communication skills
Ability to plan creatively and work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
