SEND Teacher needed for ASC Class in West London Primary School!
Horizon Teachers are currently working with an SEND school in West London to find a fantastic SEND Teacher to start from September. We have been working with the school for just over 2 years and continue to receive outstanding feedback on both the school and its family-like staffing team.
The school are an all-through SEND school based in Hillingdon, they cater to students who have an EHCP, with the primary need of students being Autism. They also have a wide array of other needs present, including students who have Social and emotional needs, as well as complex communication needs.
The school is seeking someone with:
QTS/QTLS or an equivalent teaching qualification
Experience working in a school for children with Special needs
Experience in a mixed class of children with autism
Experience with students that have communication/verbal difficulties
The ability to take the initiative and engage with children to support them in their work and play
The confidence to teach, make observations of their learning and be involved in personal care where required
