GSL are recruiting on behalf of a Special School in Gainsborough. Our client school provides specialist education for learners from the ages of 11 to post 16 years. They foster a culture of learning by ensuring mutual respect and a values-led approach to learning with an ethos based upon high quality teaching, nurture and support. This role is likely to become a permanent contract (for the right candidate).
About the role:
Working in classes to teach pupils with a wide range of additional needs to enable all pupils and students to flourish.
Our client school is looking for someone who:
is an outstanding, enthusiastic and inspirational teacher to join a dynamic team committed to enhancing the learning and progress of all pupils/students in their care;
has an ability to articulate and share a vision of SEN education with all stakeholders;
has knowledge of what constitutes quality in educational provision, the characteristics of effective schools and strategies for promoting progress, raising standards and the achievement of all learners;
has experience of working with pupils/students with SEND and has a secure understanding of the requirements of the Primary and/or Secondary Curriculum & SEND;
has the ability to liaise, plan and deliver a multi-sensory curriculum alongside other members of the staff team.
has passed their ITT course and holds Qualified Teacher Status
