SEN Teacher
Are you a compassionate, experienced, and qualified teacher with a passion for supporting children with autism? We’re seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join a welcoming, Ofsted-rated "Good" primary school in Barking and Dagenham. This is a permanent opportunity to make a profound difference in the lives of 12 brilliant pupils within the school's ARP (Additional Resource Provision) unit, all of whom have autism.

Your responsibilities
• Plan and deliver creative, personalised lessons that meet individual needs

• Track progress, support EHCP targets, and contribute to annual reviews
• Foster strong links with parents and carers, ensuring open communication and trust
• Promote a positive, structured learning environment where every child can thrive
The ideal candidate
• Holds QTS and has substantial experience working with children with autism
• Skilled in using structured SEN strategies such as TEACCH, PECS, visual supports, and sensory tools
• Collaborative, proactive, and resilient
• Committed to inclusive education and building meaningful relationships with pupils and families
