Primary Teachers - EYFS/KS1 - Specialist SEN Setting - PERM ROLE
Location: Croydon
Salary: Up to £39,000
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: September 2025
We are working with a fantastic specialist school in Croydon that supports children with a range of additional needs, including SEMH, ASD, and developmental delays. The school offers a nurturing, therapeutic environment tailored to each pupil's unique profile and is looking for two qualified teachers to join their team in Early Years and Key Stage 1.
This is an opportunity for passionate, resilient educators who want to make a real difference in a smaller setting, where relationships and routines are key. You'll be teaching in a highly supportive environment, with excellent staff-to-pupil ratios and a leadership team that truly values wellbeing and creativity in the classroom.
What We're Looking For:
A qualified teacher (QTS is essential)
Experience teaching in Early Years or KS1
A background in or strong interest in SEN, particularly supporting children with social and emotional needs or autism
Someone confident leading a small class with TA support
A calm, consistent and nurturing presence in the classroom
What You'll Be Doing:
Delivering engaging, play-based and structured learning activities tailored to individual needs
Creating a safe, sensory-aware and inclusive classroom space
Working closely with therapists, support staff and families to create the best outcomes
Helping pupils build the foundations for emotional regulation, communication and learning
This school offers a fresh start to pupils who may not have thrived in mainstream education and focuses heavily on therapeutic approaches and relationship-building.
